The O.C. Tanner Co. has donated $1 million to the American Cancer Society for the building of a Hope Lodge, which will offer complimentary accommodations for cancer patients and their caregivers who travel to Salt Lake City for treatment.

The American Cancer Society recently announced the donation, which brings their fundraising total to $12 million of the projected $18 million cost.

It is fitting that a company dedicated to producing products that recognize the worth of an individual would contribute to another project with the same mission.
