The Salt Lake City Hope Lodge will be the 32nd of its kind in the country, but the first west of the Mississippi River and the second largest in size, at an anticipated 63,000 square feet.

Officials broke ground on the Hope Lodge Wednesday, which will make it the 32nd Hope Lodge in the country. These lodges provide no-cost housing for thousands of cancer patients and their caregivers who normally would have to commute daily to receive treatment.

A comprehensive survey of the viewing habits of so-called “Millennials” –that is, those born from the 1980s to the early 2000s–conducted by Verizon Digital Media Services shows that as a group they are “are extremely sensitive to quality and performance” and they “expect to choose how, what and when they watch.”
