In January 2013, upLynk, an online video streaming company with a unique technology to simplify the digital media workflow, came out of beta and launched with ABC/Disney as its first customer. With an incredible technology and a need to be able to explain it to the market, upLynk called on Radi8 to develop clear messaging and a strategic rollout plan while utilizing our industry contacts to get the right people talking about their disruptive solution. Radi8 Creative developed compelling, easy to understand PR materials and reached out to media and analysts to get upLynk inserted into the right conversations with the right people at the right time.

Radi8’s PR efforts resulted in immediate business development opportunities as upLynk’s exposure and credibility increased in the marketplace. upLynk was approached by new vendors, contacts and potential customers as a result of the coverage. Because we understand the digital media market, we were able to secure meaningful coverage through a product rollout joined with a customer deployment that kept upLynk top of mind. We were able to give a small company with a great product a big presence and an even bigger opportunity to change the industry.

Radi8 continues to build momentum through ongoing email campaigns, media relations, analyst relations and managing participation at strategic industry events. upLynk continues to thrive within the digital media market as it works with the industry’s biggest brands in making OTT video a reality.
